Stephen is a pharmaceutical entrepreneur and executive with extensive international experience. He joined PaxMedica as CFO in July of 2022. He has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Thailand-based specialty healthcare company Indochina Healthcare Co. Ltd. (IHL) since 2015. At IHL, Stephen helped unwind the IHL Joint Venture from Pfizer and then successfully charted a path for the IHL to exceed previous revenue levels. During this tenure, Stephen was able to launch several first-to-market biosimilars and immunotherapies in Thailand.

Previously he was a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Healthcare Advisory in the Chicago, Illinois office. Stephen was responsible for developing specialty pharmacy patient programs, strategy development for specialty products, and compliance programs.

Stephen has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and BA in Computer Science and Visual Arts from Bowdoin College.
