On April 19, the PaxMedica team gathered to ring the closing bell on the NASDAQ exchange, where its shares began trading in August 2022.  The occasion coincided with Autism Awareness Month. In his opening remarks, CEO Howard Weisman said, “We’re aggressively working towards our most important goal: developing the first treatment for the core symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and we will not stop until we get there.”
